Where every engagement starts

The diagnostic: prescribed tests that find the one way that's right for you.

There are 100 ways to solve your problem. Before anyone builds anything, we test. Each test rules out ways that would have cost you money, and you get the one that's left, the evidence for it, and a price for building it.

What passed, what failed and why, signed by the engineer who ran the tests. Built to be presented upward.

Why test first

You could skip the diagnostic. Here's what that costs.

01 · Without us

You ask an AI agent, or hire a freelancer.

You get one of the 100 ways quickly, and it looks right. Nobody tests it against the other 99.

02 · What that leaves on the table

You pay for the build, then for the rework.

The first answer is rarely the right one, and the gains you never tested for never show up.

03 · Waiting is a choice too

Problems don't solve themselves.

Every month it runs, the problem costs you something. The sooner it’s diagnosed, the sooner that stops.

How it works

Four steps, all on your own systems and data.

01 · Scope · free

Write down the problem

On the first call: what it is, what it costs you today, and what "solved" would look like.

02 · Prescribe · free

List the tests

Every test is named before you pay, and the price follows from how many there are.

03 · Test · priced by tests

Rule ways out

On your systems and data, read-only first, including the option you already pay for.

04 · Report

The one way left

One page: what passed, what failed and why, and the price of building the way that's left.

What we need from you

Four things on your side, written into the agreement.

If one slips, the timeline slips with it. We say that on day one.

  1. 1

A sponsor. A named executive who owns the decision.

  2. 2

Access. Data and systems within an agreed number of days.

  3. 3

The problem, signed off. Before we test anything.

  4. 4

A decision date. When you'll decide what happens next.

Where it doesn't fit

We'd rather say no on the first call.

There's nothing to fix

If the call shows no problem worth testing, we say so, and there's no diagnostic to buy.

You've already decided

If the answer is fixed before the tests run, the diagnostic can only cost you money.

No decision date

Then there's no project yet, and we'd both be guessing.

Questions buyers ask

About the diagnostic.

Is the diagnostic free?

No. The 30-minute call is free. The diagnostic is priced by the number of tests your problem needs, and we quote it before it starts.

How long does it take?

As long as its tests take. You get the list of tests, the timeline and the price together, before we begin.

Can we stop after the diagnostic?

Yes. You keep the report and every finding in it.

Which vendors and tools do you test?

The ones that fit your problem, including the one you use today. We take no referral fees, so nothing but fit decides the list.

What happens after?

We quote the fix as a fixed price. Or nothing, if the tests say so.

Can't I do it myself using AI?

An AI will hand you one of the 100 ways in seconds. The diagnostic is how you know it's the right one before you pay to build it.

Start with one call. We'll tell you what the diagnostic would test, and what it costs.
